Government bonds fell today amid fears of sharper-than-expected monetary tightening by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in its third-quarter review of monetary policy next week. Petrol price up again, this time by Rs 2.5

State-owned oil marketing companies today raised petrol prices by up to Rs 2.54 a litre. The increase, second in 30 days, comes on the back of rising international crude oil prices.
